“Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go,” I said. The beach has so much sand that you can play forever. The beach has so much water, it seems to stretch on forever. There are shells, big shells that go round and round and round, there are shells that I do not know how to describe.
I like to collect them. Some shine like rainbows. Then there are the pebbles. There are white, black, and brown pebbles that I collect. Some I throw back into the waves while others I put them in the car and bring home.
I do not know how to make a sand castle, but I try. If you go right up to the waves, the sand is wet. I like to wet my feet in the water. The sand is sometimes rough.
I cannot play with it very well. But some of the sand is fine and very nice. They are the color of my skin, which is light brown. I like to play with this sand.
There are red birds, white seagulls, brown green ducks, and I don’t know what the other birds are but there are many birds at the beach. Some are looking for fish, some are maybe looking for turtles!
Some of the birds are walking or sleeping on the sand in the beach. Some are floating in the water and some are flying in the air. I am not supposed to feed the birds. But I have seen one lady feed the birds, but she worked with the national parks.
I swim in the water. I went swimming with my dad and my sister. Because the water was brown, I could not see much.
I touched the floor of the ocean with my hands and it was very slippery, like slime because of plants. My friend did not come with me because she was scared. I want to go swimming in the ocean again.
There is a beach six minutes away from my home and I will go there and swim all summer!
We fish in the ocean. Last time, we did not catch fish but we caught crabs! The crabs were hungry and they ate the fish bait every time.
The color of the crabs that we caught was blue. They had claws. One ran away but we brought one home. Though I did not want it cooked, we could not keep it as a pet so we had to eat it.
When it fell on the floor and started running all over the kitchen floor, my mum and I were scared.
Dad caught it and the claws had a lot of tasty meat.
That was my sand adventure. I am sure to have more fun at the beach!
