Kendriya Vidyalaya celebrates Golden Jubilee

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 13: Kendriya Vidyalaya Kathmandu celebrated its Golden Jubilee Annual Day function on Saturday.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Shrivastav was the Chief Guest and Home Secretary Eknarayan Arayal was the Special Invitee for the function.

According to a press release issued by the Indian embassy, a plethora of cultural items showcased the theme of Indo-Nepal cultural bonding and reverberated the emotions of decades-old friendship between the two countries. 

These included Indo-Nepali fusion dance, group songs, and Folk dances celebrating the cultural ethos of the two nations. Mime and skits in English celebrated the changing values and trends of modern society.

Prizes were also given to the winners of Co-curricular activities.
