Winter session of House begins today

BY A STAFF REPORTER,Kathmandu, Feb. 4: The winter session of both the Houses of Federal Parliament is begining on Monday. According to the parliament secretariat, the meetings of both the House of Representatives and National Assembly are summoned for 4:00 pm on Monday.

The government has said that it will pass several important bills from the winter session of the parliament. 

Meanwhile, Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire said that the bills would be passed by assuring its implementation.

During the inspection of the parliament building on Sunday, Speaker Ghimire said that discussions would be carried on the bills necessary for the country and passed in the session. 

He said that it was not a big deal to pass the bills instead initiatives should be taken to implement those bills. 

Stating that the essence of the parliament was to pass the necessary bills, he said that the parliament should function according to the calendar. 

He said that the legal arrangements for the discussion of pre-budget had come through the ordinances and the government was paying necessary attention to it.
