VP stresses importance of social harmony

By Our Correspondent,Gaur, Apr. 4: Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has stressed the importance of social harmony and fraternity. Inaugurating the Bishnu Mahayagya (Oblation) being held at Jethrahiya, Yamunamai Rural Municipality, Rautahat, on Sunday, Vice President Yadav hoped that the Mahayagya would help eradicate the anomalies of the society. He also wished that the ceremony would promote harmony, tolerance, development and education.

Also speaking on the occasion, former Minister of State for Land, Agriculture and Cooperatives of Madhes Province Yogendra Yadav, shared that the Yagya had been organised for the welfare of all and wished for its success.

According to the organising committee, religious scholars, priests and teachers carried out various rituals at the Yagya that was attended by the Vice President, former provincial ministers, elected representatives, security officers and Chief District Officer of Rautahat Dharmendra Kumar Mishra.
