Gandaki Province govt unveiling policies and programmes today

Gandaki, June 2: Gandaki Province government is unveiling policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year, 2026/27 later today.

Province Chief Dilliraj Bhatta is scheduled to present the government policies and programmes in the Province Assembly at 4:00pm, according to Govind Paudel, secretary at province assembly secretariat.

The province governments are constitutionally stipulated to bring budget on Asar 1 of Nepali calendar, which is preceded by unveiling of the policies and programmes. 

The budget session of the Province Assembly had begun a week back. The Province Assembly secretariat informed that even a discussion was held on principles and priorities of the appropriation bill. (RSS)
