Ward member dies in jeep accident

Parbat, June 2: A person died and two others received injuries in a jeep accident occurred at Arthardandakharka of Kusma Municipality-14 in Parbat district last night.

Ward member Keshab Raj Paoudel, 52, died in the accident occurred after the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5865) fell 500 metres down the road. The vehicle was heading to Charipani from ward office located at Arthardandakharka.

Paudel who was injured seriously was rushed to Pokhara for treatment, but the doctors announced him dead in no time.

Two others injured in the incident were Buddhi Sagar Paudel, 27, and Rajendra Paudel, 46, from the same locality. They have been undergoing treatment at Manipur Hospital, Pokhara. Buddhi Sagar is the jeep driver, according to police.  (RSS)
