Probe panel on indecent behavior in HoR meeting formed

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 1: A parliamentary probe panel has been formed under the coordination of secretary of the House of Representatives (HoR) Prakash Adhikari to investigate into the indecent and objectionable behaviour of some lawmakers in the HoR meeting of Sunday.

The committee formed as per Rule 33 (4) of the Parliament Regulations, 2083 BS will submit report to the Speaker within seven days, informed Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal to the HoR meeting on Monday.

Speaker Aryal said the committee comprises of chief of the internal service and planning management division of federal parliament secretariat and the chief of the technology management division.

Speaker also informed that recommendation can be made for necessary action as per the HoR Regulations Rule 31(4).
