Sunar crowned Teej Idol

By Our Correspondent,Nepalgunj, Sept. 2: Jharana Sunar has won the title of  ‘Riddhi Siddhi Khajura Teej Idol’.She won the title by leaving 11 other contestants behind in the grand finale held at Radhapur Community Learning Centre in Khajura Rural Municipality -1 on Saturday. 

Likewise, Durga Rana was declared the first runner-up, Sumina Thapa Magar the second runner-up and Damayanti Jaisi the third runner-up. 

Similarly, Diksha Rana won the title of the ‘best performer’, while Anjali Ale was declared the ‘most talented contestant’ and Aakriti Rana the ‘most energetic’. 

The other winners included Premika Pun as the ‘most confident’, Kusum Pun as the ‘most stylish’, Manisha Khanal as the  ‘best catwalk’, Ayusha Rana as the ‘best physic’ and Sumitra Rana as ‘the best smile’ contestant. 

Sunar won gold jewelry of five annas while Rana, Thapa Magar and Jaisi won gold jewelry weighing three anas, two anas and one ana respectively.  

Twelve contestants had reached the final round of the competition. 

Additionally, other participants were awarded silver anklets. 

Member of the House of Representatives Asha BK, vice chair of Khajura Rural Municipality Manju Malla and chairman of Radhapur Community Learning Centre Sundar Gurung presented the prizes and certificates to the winners.
