Kathmandu, May 22: Malaysia has set a modest victory target of 83 runs for the Nepali women's national cricket team in the second international T20 match.
Malaysia, having won the toss and chosen to bat first, scored 82 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs in the match held at the Bayuemas Oval cricket ground in Malaysia.
Aina Hamiz contributed the most runs for Malaysia with 17 runs. She scored 17 runs in 30 balls with the help of one four. Similarly, Dhanushri Muhunan added 15 runs while Arinan Natasya made 13 runs. Apart from that, other Malaysian players could not make double-digit runs.
Towards bowling, Nepal's Kabita Kunwar, Rubina K.C. and Riya Sharma took two wickets each while Pooja Mahato and Sita Ranamagar took one wicket each. Nepal is now batting in response.(RSS)
