Infrastructures built in encroached land to be demolished in Dang

Dang, May 22: The Road Division Office, Dang, has issued a notice giving a deadline of 15 days to stakeholders by asking them to clear the infrastructure developed by encroaching upon highways and other roads.

The Office has asked the individuals and organizations to clear the huts, buildings and walls that were constructed by encroaching upon the lands of different roads under the Division Office in Dang district.    

The Office has stated that encroachment has posed a serious threat to road safety and has impacted vehicular mobility.

The Office mentioned that demolition of such huts, buildings and other infrastructures should be done along the Dhankhola to Shivakhola in the East-West Highway, the Koilabas-Lamahi-Ghorahi section in Sahidmarga, the Ameliya-Tulsipur-Sitapati road section in Rapti Highway, the Gadhawa-Rajpur section in Postal Highway, the Shitalpati-Khalanga-Baluwat section in Madan Bhandari and other major road stretches in the district.
