12 women selected for Teej Idol

By Our Correspondent,Nepalgunj, Aug. 26: The ‘Riddhi Siddhi Khajura Teej Idol’ mega audition has been completed, selecting 12 contestants for the finale. 

The mega audition took place after initial auditions in Nepalgunj and Khajura for the Teej Idol competition, organised by the Radhapur Community Learning Centre in Khajura Rural Municipality 1, on the occasion of Teej.

The contestants who made it to the final round include Jharna Sunar, Damayanti Jaisi, Aakriti Rana, Pramika Pun Magar, Ayusha Rana, Manisha Khanal, Anjali Ale Magar, Sumina Thapa Magar, Durga Rana, Diksha Thapa Magar, Sumina Rana Magar, and Kusum Pun Magar.

The mega audition, held in the presence of Raju Soni, the proprietor of Shri Riddhi Siddhi Jewellers, featured participation from 25 individuals.

 The winners of the competition will receive gold jewellery as prizes. 

The first-place winner will be awarded jewellery weighing 5 aana, the second-place winner will receive 3 aana of jewelry, the third-place winner will get 2 aana, and the fourth-place winner will receive 1 aana of gold jewelry.

 Additionally, seven other participants will be awarded silver anklets, as informed by Sundar Gurung, the chairman of the Radhapur Community Learning Centre and the coordinator of the Idol competition.

The audition and mega round were judged by choreographers KB Shahi and Milan Gurung.

The final of the Idol competition is scheduled to take place on Friday at Mini Park, Khajura.
