In his message of best wishes on the occasion of 126th anniversary of the publication of the Gorkhapatra daily and national journalism day today, PM Shah stated, "Journalism should not only be mirror of society but also the engine of social transformation. May the Gorkhapatra's upcoming journey become more modern, technology-friendly and firm for good governance. Your creative works will boost materialize dream of prosperous Nepal."
The PM stated that the present government has
pledged to lay foundation for a prosperous Nepal embracing the new
consciousness and hunger for good governance as established by the Gen Z
movement, and made public '100 point roadmap for 100 days' in the same spirit.
PM Shah noted that the Gorkhapatra has presented an
inclusive picture of Nepal by publishing contents in 49 national languages of
the country.
"It is appreciable work of the Gorkhapatra
Corporation that it has connected Nepalis around the world through different
channels including the Gorkhapatra Online and The Rising Nepal Online and their
social media platforms," said PM Shah.
The PM expressed confidence that the Gorkhapatra
will as always stand as bridge between the government and the people and keep
disseminating news and views for truth and justice.
