Ward Chair arrested on charge of rape

Nepali, Jumla, May 7: Ward
Chairperson of Patarasi Rural Municipality-5 Datta Bahadur Budha has been
arrested on a charge of rape of woman.
DSP and chief of the
Jumla district police office Ravin Babu Regmi said that accused Budha was taken
into control on the basis of arrest warrant and that the court has allowed to
keep him in custody for five days for further investigation into the case.
According to the police, a woman has filed a case on May 5 in the police office against Budha charging him of repeated rape issuing threats.
