Budget 2026/027: Total Rs. 2124.34 billion

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 29: The government has unveiled an estimate of annual income and expense for the year 2026/027. 

As per the allocation, Rs. 1270.58 billion has been allocated for current expenditure, Rs 431.10 billion for capital expenditure and Rs 422.64 billion for financial management.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle said so while presenting the annual budget for fiscal year of 2026/027 at the joint meeting of the federal parliament- the House of Representatives and the National Assembly. 

For the resource allocation for the budget, the government has expected Rs 1405.31 billion from revenue, Rs 61.74 billion from foreign grant, Rs 247.28 billion from foreign debt, and Rs. 410 billion from internal debt.
