Chitwan, May 30: The All Nepal Medical Conference 'NMA Con 2026' organized by the Nepal Medical Association is underway at the conference hall of BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital.
According to the association's president, Dr Anil Bikram Karki, specialist doctors, nurses and health workers from Nepal, India and China are participated in the conference that will run until Sunday.
A total of 40 working papers and 30 progress reports are being presented and discussed in the conference.
Some 350 delegates from all over the country are participating in the program. Special sessions are being conducted in the conference on topics such as primary health care reform, digital health, rural health access, health insurance and human resource management.
The conference is being held every three years for the past twelve years. The main theme of this year's conference is 'Strengthening Primary Health Care through Innovation for Modern, Accessible, Affordable and Equitable Health Care'.(RSS)
