Male tiger found dead in Nawalpur

BY BOM LAL GIRI, Nawalpur, Feb. 17: A male tiger was found dead in a forest of Arunkhola, in Madhyabindu Municipality-10, Nawalpur. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police Nawalpur Bed Bahadur Paudel said that it was unclear whether the tiger died naturally or was killed. However, Division Forest Officer Arjun Sapkota said that the tiger might have died of natural causes.

Paudel added that a team comprising police and officials from the Division Forest Office in Kawasoti reached the incident site to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tiger's demise. 

Based on the tiger's condition, it is presumed to have passed away several days ago, the Division Forest Office said.
