Fierce action in ‘Balidan’ trailer

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Sept. 20: The trailer of one of the most anticipated films, Balidan, was released on Friday.

The trailer begins with a poignant scene where a mother urges her son to protect the nation and its dignity. Actress Reecha Sharma plays the mother’s role, seen urging her son, “You must destroy those bloodthirsty enemies who cast evil eyes on our land and its dignity.”

Then the dialogue of actor Samir Bhatt follows, where he says he would give every drop of his blood to protect the nation.

Actor Bhatt debuted in Nepali cinema with the film 12 Gaun, which was released during Dashain last year. In his first film, he impressed the audience with his powerful acting. Balidan is his second film.

Arpan Thapa, Saugat Malla, and Mahendra Budhathoki also appear in striking avatars in the trailer. 

 Director Santosh Sen said that Balidan is not merely a film but a symbol of rebellion in the heart of every Nepali.

Meanwhile, the film’s title song, ‘Yo Jyan Balidan’, has also been released and is trending. 

Produced under the banner of Asusen Films, the film stars Samir Bhatt, Saugat Malla, Reecha Sharma, Arpan Thapa, Hemanta Budathoki, Kavita Raya, Kameshor Chaurasiya, Prajal Dulal, Jeevan Baral, and Ritesh Jung Poudel, among others.

Directed by Santosh Sen, the film is written by Darshan Ji and produced by Pawan Bradford Bista. Balidan is set to release nationwide on Phulpati, September 29.
