Lions Club conducts free health camp

Kathmandu, July 7: Around 200 people received blood testing and health camp service organized by the Lions Club of Kathmandu, Indrayani Khusibun. 

194 people received blood testing and health check-ups in a program under social responsibility targeting people from humble backgrounds, which was conducted on July 4 and 5. 

A team of Dr Pradita Shrestha, Dr Bishow Shrestha, among other specialists, provided service in the program.

Coordinator of the program, Saubhagya Bajracharya, said that the health camp will elevate health awareness and will help to diagnose disease through preliminary testing. 

Reminding about the role of the social service of the Lions club, Chairperson of the program and Lions Club Rajendra Maharjan said that the program aimed at providing health services to poor people and those who cannot access services by themselves.
