Grand ward festival being held in New Road (Photo Feature)

By TRN Online, Kathmadnu, May 16: A grand ward festival is being organized on New Road in Kathmandu today.

According to Ward Chair of Kathmandu Metropolitan city-22 Chinikaji Maharjan, this festival is being held today, embracing the heritage and vibrant aspects of various sectors within the ward area, including historical, social, commercial, cultural, and religious.

Various cultural performances by local artists, dances, and songs, more than 150 handicrafts, homemade products, ready-made clothes, shoes, bags, mobiles, and electrical goods stalls, more than 50 traditional and other food exhibitions, multi-language literature festivals and honor programs, historical photo and painting exhibitions, children's entertainment, and blood donation at 6 locations are being held.
