Nine injured in Arghakhanchi EV bus accident

By Ganesh Khanal, Arghakhanchi, Mar.12: Nine people have sustained injury when an EV bus carrying wedding attendants met with an accident at Chhatradev Rural Municipality, in Arghakhanchi district. 

The accident occurred on Wednesday at Archalneta, Balkot, Chhatradev Rural Municipality. 

Police Chief Chakra Bahadur Malla said that the accident occurred when an EV (Province 01-001-Ja-0140) en route to Butwal from Archalneta was giving way to a school bus.

Police said that the driver, Durga Pandey of Archalneta, Chhatradev Rural Municipality -3, in Arghakhanchi, and Sabitra Bhusal, her daughter, Nilam Bhusal, of same place suffered injuries in various parts of the body in the accident.

Similarly, Sangita Bhusal of Archalneta, her daughter Tirsana Bhusal, Sita Bhusal, Anirudra Bhattarai, Kalpana Bharti and Preran Bhusal, of the same place sustained injury. 

"All the injured have been sent to Butwal for further treatment, " Police said.
