By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Aug. 25: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged everyone to rely on and trust the current government for the country’s development.

Responding to queries from youth participants at the ‘Kathmandu Youth Conclave 2024,’ organised by Phoenix College and Universal College on Saturday, Prime Minister Oli highlighted that his government is determined to make a difference and bring about positive change.

Prime Minister Oli said that the pace of development in the country can’t be quickened unless the youth are aware and engaged, emphasising that young people are the driving force behind nation-building.

He also expressed confidence that if a favourable environment is created, Nepali youth living abroad would be motivated to return to their homeland.

Highlighting the government’s efforts to connect youth with education and employment opportunities within the country, Prime Minister Oli announced that a startup programme has been launched.

He also mentioned plans to create more than 10,000 job opportunities through the private sector.

In response to a question about his political struggle, Prime Minister Oli expressed his belief that his efforts for freedom and democracy, despite enduring imprisonment and hardship, would inspire confidence and self-empowerment in every Nepali.

To prevent criminal cases like rape in society, Prime Minister Oli underscored that every individual and the community should conduct themselves responsibly.

He also expressed his commitment to strictly enforce the law and take decisive action against the perpetrators in such cases.
