Diwas's solo poetry recitation held

BY A STAFF REPORTER,Kathmandu, July 23Internationally acclaimed senior poet Tulsi Diwas presented some of his best poems at a function organised on the occasion of his 85th birthday in Lalitpur.

Poets Shailendra Sakar, Krishna Pradhan and Ramnath Adhikary Sangee hailed artistic values in the Diwas' poetry while Chandramani Prasain, Shreeram Paudel, Prakash Parajuli, Mangalkumar Thapa, Sunil Thapa, Krishna Bista, Binod Aakash Khatri, Shekhar Acharya, Ambika Khadka, Bishnudevi Maharjan, Sandhya Joshi and Nira Shrestha extended him birthday wishes.

At the programme organised by Lalitya Sirjana Samaj, Chairman of the organisation Buddhiman Maharjan, Vice Chairman Pushparaj KC, Secretary Juman Kiran, Treasurer Binod Banjara and Sunil Thapa jointly presented an honour plaque to Diwas. Chairman of the organisation Maharjan expressed his commitment to work in the field of art and literature in the days ahead. Earlier, Diwas inaugurated the organisation.
