NC maintains lead in Ilam-2

By Prem Adhikari, Ilam, Apr 28: Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Khadka has maintained a lead in the in the ongoing vote count of the Ilam - 2.

Khadka has so far received 1,145 votes while UML candidate Suhang Nemwang received 1,063 votes. 

Similarly, Independent candidate Dakendra Singh Thegim got 311 votes, Rashtriya Swatantra Party's Milan Kumar Yonghang Limbu received 205 votes and Rashtriya Prajatantra Party's Laxmi Gurung received 6 votes.

The by-election for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) in Ilam Constituency 2 was held on Saturday.
