Boy who disappeared while swimming found dead

By TRN Online, Lekhnath, May 1: A little boy who drowned while swimming in the Phewa Lake at Khapaudi of Pokhara Metropolitan City-18 of Kaski district has been declared dead. 

After rescuing 10-year-old Aaresh Lama, who went missing around 10:15 AM on Friday, was brought to Western Regional Hospital where he was declared dead by the medical doctors. 

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Kaski, Hari Bahadur Basnet, said that ward office Baidam and divers of Armed Police Force rescued the missing boy and sent him to the hospital, where he was declared dead by doctors around 12:15 PM. 

Many people have died by drowning while swimming in the Phewa Lake.
