Karnali bridge fire brought under control
By Avinash Chaudhary, Dhanagadhi, Mar 11: The fire that caught the wire of the Karnali bridge has been taken under control.
Lav Bahadur Shahi, spokesperson of Lamkichuha Municipality and Chair of Ward 3, informed that the fire has been almost doused with collective efforts from the security forces, people’s representatives and the locals.
Fire engines from Lamkichuha, Tikapur, Ghodaghodi and Madhuvan Municipalities were brought in for extinguishing the fire.
The wire of the bridge built in 1993 along the East-West highway caught fire after a fire broke out in a truck carrying lighters while crossing the bridge.
