DPM Khadka praises DLA role for democracy
Kathmandu, July 28 : Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Purna Bahadur Khadka has praised the role of legal practitioners in strengthening democracy.
In his address to the leadership handover ceremony of Democratic Lawyers Association (DLA) aligned to the Nepali Congress party here Friday, DPM Khadka said the party highly acknowledged the 'historic' role of DLA in Nepal's democratic movement.
On the occasion, NC lawmaker Deepak Khadka second DPM that the DLA had contributed hugely to the democratic movement in Nepal.
The DLA has got a new leadership under the chair of senior advocate Sitaram KC. (RSS)
