Asian Games Women's Qualifier: Nepal beats Indonesia to qualify for semi-final

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 28: Nepal beat Indonesia by 4 wickets in Asian Games Women's Qualifier match held in Kuala Lumpur today.

In its first batting, Indonesia set a target of 114 runs in 20 overs with a loss of 4 wickets. 

Chasing the target, Nepal scored 114 runs in 19.3 overs losing its 6 wickets. 

For Indonesia, Rahmawati Pangestuti scored 1 run in 5 balls, Ni Luh Dewi scored 23 runs in 33 balls, Ni Putu Ayu Nanda Sakarini scored 56 runs in 62 balls, Ni Made Putri Suwandewi scored 13 runs in 17 balls, Ni Kadek Fitria Rada Rani scored 3 runs in 3 balls.

Manisha Upadhayay took 2 wickets and Riya Sharma took one wicket for Nepal. 

For Nepal, Samjhana Khadka scored 1 runs in 3 balls, Puja Mahato scored 9 runs in 12 balls, Sony Pakhrin scored 29 runs in 36 balls, Indu Barma (Captain) scored unbeaten 42 runs in 43 balls, Kabita Kunwar scored 14 runs in 14 balls, Sita Rana Magar scored unbeaten 13 runs in 6. 

For Indonesia, Ni Made Putri Suwandewi took 2 wickets, Dara Paramitha took 1 wicket and Sang Maypriani took one wicket and Ni Ariani took 2 wickets.
