Kathmandu, July 27 : Acting Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka on Thursday made an onsite visit to Birendra Hospital at Chhauni in the Capital City.
On the occasion, Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma welcomed Khadka and briefed about the health care services and welfare activities run by the Nepali Army (NA).
During the inspection visit, the Acting Prime Minister took stock about the OPD service, emergency service, trauma hall and the mass casualty treatment centre there. After the inspection, Khadka directed the NA to take initiatives for better management of the entire health care services of the Nepali Army and Birendra Hospital, according to the Public Relations Directorate of Nepali Army.
