SC revokes appointment of Koshi CM Thapa, ordered to form new Govt.

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 27: The Supreme Court today revoked the appointment of Uddhav Thapa as a Chief Minister of Koshi Province.
On Thursday, SC's justices Ishwari Prasad Khatiwada, Dr Ananda Mohan Bhattarai and Til Prasad Shrestha's full bench revoked the appointment of Thapa as CM saying that the appointment was unconstitutional.
SC issued a verdict to form the new government. It ordered to start the process of the appointment of a new CM by August 2.
