FM Mahat directs secretaries for timely implementation of budget

Kathmandu, July 26 :  Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has directed the secretaries of the government to implement the current budget in the stipulated time.     

At a programme organised by Finance Ministry here on Wednesday, Minister Mahat asked the secretaries to place emphasis on budget implementation which will come to effect from July 31 onwards.     

He shared, "Bidding process of the projects having detailed project reports should be forwarded. Contract of the projects should be signed within November."     

He expressed the commitment that the Finance Ministry would clear all the receipts that are received within a month, within 15 days.     

Minister Mahat directed the secretaries not to forward the projects without resource assurance. (RSS)
