With the sun in the sky so bright
The flowers blooms beautifully yellow and white
To welcome Saraswati, goddess of light
And make everything smooth and right.
Book in the hand, above the lotus open wide
Goddess Saraswati always stays by my side
Be the teacher and my guide
So that we can study with a pride
Help me remove darkness and fear
Make my vision high and clear
Saraswati always be my near
Help me be gentle and smart every year
Dressed in a peaceful white and brilliant mind
The path of truth we hope to find
Be in the tip of our tongue to be more kind
Love and knowledge we tend to bind.
