Reputed Nepali scholar and diplomat Dr. Jaya Raj Acharya walked inside the Nistha Chen-Suryavinayak road leading to the shrine of Lord Ganesh. Literally, Ganesh is a combination of 'Gana' and 'Ish'. 'Gana' means 'group', whereas 'Ish' stands for 'divine soul'. Virtually, Ganesh represents regardful divinity. Hindus among the Aryans pay homage to Ganesh wholeheartedly. Ganesh is the supreme divine power, although each and every divine entity has their own role to play in fulfilling worldly responsibilities of their own.
Let me switch to the matter of concern. Regarding the purposive questions and answers as per Acharya himself and his daughter-in-law Katherine Ramsey Acharya, inquisitiveness was cast in the year 2023. In response to Katherine Ramsay Acharya's request, Jaya Raj Acharya sketched out the portraits of his grandfather and grandmother with a deep sense of regard for them. Having looked upon those sketched photographs, no one would consider them imaginary.
The second inquisitiveness cast by his daughter-in-law Katherine Ramsey Acharya was plain and simple yet humanly motivated. My mindset signals me and other readers – I guess so. A simple rural woman, though, was kind and benevolent in all the ways she could afford. It signals how rural dames could afford themselves in the bygone days.
I personally had been curious as to how Dr. Jaya Raj Acharya came to have a limping foot. Having gone through the enquiries, my mind was enlightened. Jaya Raj Acharya got struck with poliomyelitis. It has caused his left leg muscles to be stuck in their natural state in his body.
Had I not got opportunities to go through these questions and answers, I would remain puzzled. How blessed am I with Dr. Acharya's blissful questions and answers, I said to myself.
With regard to love and arranged marriage, Acharya is highly concerned with the Aryan Hindu sense of cultural ecstasy. Irrespective of love or arranged marriage, he is fully concerned with permanence. Conjugality must remain lifelong. Permanency could be corresponding with longevity. It's highly related to the eastern Hindu doctrine. Going through the pages and volumes of philosophical documents is to absorb glamorous light for consolidating futuristic perspectives as a matter of fact.
Another glamorous feature and phenomenon of the questions and answers to my meritorious insight is the evidential doctrine. It's conjugated and supported by the pertinent, picturesque photographic evidence. They are just like glaring examples of vivid eye witnesses. Personally, I derived optimum satisfaction out of glamorous reading of the life of Jaya Raj Acharya, an outstanding diplomat. I would bear nothing less than grousing about any kind of differences of opinions. It's all about human mental stature. Body size, height, facial appearance, voice, liking and disliking are the natural phenomena. It's not tilting but one's own perception of the mind at best and in reality. There is a lot more to deal with in the life and thoughts of Dr. Acharya, however, I would like to relax right now. I would not venture to deal with more.
A short yet attractively glamorous attempt have I found in it. It is supported by the picturesque scenarios. It's a complementary attraction on the part of young and older generations like me. It has contributed to the extent it has triggered. Had I not got the opportunity to go through the publication, I would remain blind and dumb without knowing that Jaya Raj Acharya is from the clan of the late popular pioneer poet Bhanu Bhakta Acharya. In Sanskrit 'Bhanu' equates to 'Sun', which could shatter darkness. And Acharya – an energetic precursor personality at best with regard to Nepali vernacular – is the wealth of the nation. Language is the stream of binding string in society.
The publication has encompassed the picturesque state of the rural settings of the then state of life. It has helped me to comprehend how a person born in a rural setting could turn into a highly learned personality of a nation and beyond. The photographs invigorate the moments, occasions, sequential moments and events.
Having said this, I resolved within myself to categorise the publication in terms of four virtues. The first is quite plain and simple, dealing with the household concerns. It has energised me to acquaint myself with his early childhood, family background, and status of livelihood in age-old rural settings without transport and communication facilities. How people from remote areas could emerge out to the national-international horizon. Emergence from Tanahun, the remote rural setting, hardly makes any difference if one's mindset is determined from the inner self of a person irrespective of birth, family, economic status, etc.
Perception of a thing differs on the basis of age and circumstances as well as situation. One and the same object would throw, cast and resemble different visions depending upon the circumstances. It has happened with this penholder. However it may be, my perception comes to a conclusion that this authorship by Jaya Raj Acharya is one of the commendable publications.
