Nepal set a target of 276 runs in 20 overs with a loss of seven wickets. Player of the match Kushal Bhurtel hit 126 runs in just 54 balls. Aasif Sheikh scored 68 runs in 24 balls, Sundeep Jora scored 15 runs in 14 balls, Captain Dipendra Singh Airee scored 31 runs in 11 balls, Lokesh Bam scored 10 runs in 6 balls, Kushal Malla scored 9 runs in 7 balls, Karan KC scored 7 runs in 3 balls, Sompal Kami scored 1 run in 1 ball.
Sher Malla took 3 wickets, Karan KC, Somapal Kami, Sandeep Lamichhane, Dipendra Singh Airee and Kushal Malla took one wicket each.
Chasing the target, Malaysia got all out in 108 runs losing its 9 wickets.
