20 tourist vehicles escorted to destinations from Pokhara

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 3: Tourist vehicles to Chitwan and Kathmandu from Pokhara are being escorted today too. 

Armed Police Force's joint Spokesperson, Shailendra Thapa, informed that issuing a notice, APF number 24 Kalika Gan Kaski, and the Nepal Police have jointly escorted 20 tourist vehicles so far today.

Out of them, 17 were bound for Kathmandu and three were bound for Chitwan.

Similarly, one EV Van returning from Muktinath carrying pilgrims was also sent to Kathmandu by escort. More than 600 passengers were on those vehicles.

Commuters’ mobility has been severely disrupted across Gandaki Province as transport entrepreneurs and workers intensified their protest from Sunday, even by halting the operation of the tourist vehicles.
