By Gokarna Poudel, Tulsipur, Apr.26: Bhagwati Sharma, who was performing 13 days of funeral rites for her husband, has passed away.
Six days after the death of Narayan Acharya of Motipur, Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-7, his wife Bhagwati Sharma passed away on Saturday morning while performing the 13-day mourning period.
Sharma, who had fallen asleep after drinking Jeevan Jal water at 11 PM on Friday, was immediately taken to Rapti Life Care Hospital after she did not wake up after being woken up in the morning.
Binod Sharma said that doctor declared her dead on arrival.
Sharma had been suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol for a long time.
Sharma had also been associated with various social organizations for a decade. She was a central member of the Nepal Red Cross Society and a member of the Rapti Provincial Hospital Development Committee.
Earlier, her husband Narayan Acharya had died of a gunshot wound. The initial police report stated that he committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun found at home.
