Moti Jayanti marked

By Siraj Khan,Nepalgunj, Sep 4: On the occasion of the 159th Moti Jayanti, the Department of Composition of Hamro Purnima Sahitya Pratishthan organised a poetry seminar here on Tuesday. 

In the seminar held in Kohalpur, the litterateurs of Banke recited their creations and expressed their views on the contribution of Motiram Bhatta in the development and expansion of Nepali literature. 

Litterateurs Devki Niraula, Badri Dhakal Hiramani, Kasiraj Adhikari, Hukum Dhadkan, Balaram Kafle, Ganesh Poudel, Keshav Nimesh, Hari Tripathi, Prakash Kshitij, Bimala Khatri, Ekraj Sharma, Ayusha Kafle, Shreya Poudel, Bimala Khatri, Saksham Chalise, Vipin Singh, Api Lamsal and others recited their poems.

On the occasion, Nepal Academy's member Mahananda Dhakal said that Motiram Bhatta's contribution to Nepali ghazal, criticism, poetry and journalism was incomparable. 

Lecturer Khopiram Oli Chhetri, litterateur Sagar Gaire, Chairman of Hamro Purnima Sahitya Pratishthan Pushkar Rijal and coordinator of the Department of Composition of Hamro Purnima Sahitya Pratishthan Prakash Marasini also expressed their views.
