22 children sing song for ‘Sarang’

By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, July 25:The song ‘Chiso Batas’ for the film ‘Sarang’ was sung by 22 children. The film is directed by Prashant Tamang. The song, composed by DP Khanal, features the voices of Kiran Bhujel and Muskan Ranabhat, along with the talented children of Kanjirowa National Secondary School, Koteshwor. 

Another song from the film, titled ‘Choli Tunama,’ is sung by Shanti Shree Pariyar and Sairaj. 

This song is also written by DP Khanal, and the music is composed by Shankar Thapa ‘Smile’. 

According to the story’s demands, 22 children were asked to sing together in the film, focusing on child psychology and child rights, said director Tamang.

Tamang claimed that the song was very melodious and meaningful. 

The first phase of the film’s shooting, which started on April 15, has been completed. The rest of the shooting will be done in a few days. 

Richa Sharma, Utpal Jha, Sameer Mani Dixit, Suraj Tamu, Mani K. Rai, Anisha Neupane, Neeraj Black, Deepika Thapa, and Suman Sagar Jung KC, along with child actors Samrat Thapa and Aditya Karki, are in the film. The script, which aims to provide entertainment, is also written by director Tamang himself.
