Asmita performs in dozen US cities

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Dec. 6: Asmita Adhikari has concluded concerts in 12 cities in the United States of America.  The concert, named ‘USA First Musical Tour - Volume One’ was held in American cities including New York, Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, Sacramento, Akron, Columbus and Harrisburg.

The concert, targeting the two biggest festivals, Dashain and Tihar, began in Dallas, Texas on October 21 and ended in Virginia on November 25. It was Adhikari’s first performance in America.

Organisers claim that Asmita is the first Nepali female artist to perform in the US cities. 

The concert was jointly organised by Live at Presence, Planet 3 Films, Koselli Events, Fuzon International.

According to the organisers, all the concerts were completed in 45 days. 

In a short period, programmes were organised at many locations and world-class concert venues, informed the organiser. 

The Nepali-speaking diaspora community, second-generation Nepalis, and even some foreign nationals attended the concerts held every weekend. Sharad Yuvraj Singh, one of the organisers, said that Asmita’s US tour was very successful and it was a mesmerising concert and received excellent feedback from audience.

Asmita performed her popular songs like ‘Kale Ketale’, ‘Meso Milayera’, ‘Ram Ram Marauti’, ‘Uta Pareli Jhim Jhim Bho,’ ‘Fulai Fula Dinchhau Ki’.
