Prithiviya Thapa wins Mrs Nepal World

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Nov. 10: Prithiviya Thapa of Itahari was crowned Mrs. Nepal World 2023,  Nepal’s most prominent beauty pageant exclusively for married women, amid a grand finale held in the capital on Wednesday.

The event was organised by Ribbon Entertainment.

Thapa, who works as an auditor, clinched both the prestigious Mrs. Nepal World 2023 title and the title of Most Talented.

Thapa will now have the opportunity to represent Nepal at Mrs. World, which will be held in America in January, next year. Along with the title, she was also presented with a scooter. 

Srijana KC was named Mrs. Nepal International in the competition. She also secured the Must Photogenic category.  Her prizes included a television set and the chance to represent Nepal at Mrs. International in Singapore.

 Likewise, Sita Subedi was crowned MS Nepal International and won the Ribbon Entertainment Management Choice Award. She will represent Nepal at MS International in Singapore.

Mrs. World 2022 Sargam Kousha crowned the winners in the finale.

 Likewise, Aaina Gajurel secured the first runner-up position and the title of Best Ramp Walk while Nisha Bista was the second runner-up. 

Saru RL Rana was named the third runner-up, and Aayushma Rai won the Viewer's Choice and Public Choice Awards. The event featured choreography by Choreographer Aswini Jha, dance by Sandeep Bhujel.

Judges for the competition included Gopal Sunder Lal Kakshapati, President- Beauty Pageant Association of Nepal  (BPAN), Dr. Asha Singh,  AIGP (Nepal Police),  Dr. Om Murti Anil , Akhanda Bhandari , Editor-In-Chief at Annapurna Post National Daily, Pratap Babu Tiwari , General Manager of Tribhuwan International Airport and actress  Sarita Lamichhane.

Last year, Diksha KC was crowned Mrs. Nepal World, while actress Usha Rajak earned the title of Mrs. Nepal International.
