Limb service begins at Chisapani Hospital

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Oct. 15An artificial limb service project has commenced at Chisapani Hospital in Bardaghat, Nawalparasi-West. The project, CG Sabal Center, is established with the support from Chaudhary Foundation. 

Binod Chaudhary, a Member of the House of Representatives and Central Member of the Nepali Congress, inaugurated the Sabal Center at the hospital. Individuals without limbs will now receive artificial limbs free of charge at Chisapani Hospital, Chaudhary Foundation said in a statement on Saturday.

To date, the CG Sabal Center has benefited approximately 1,000 individuals by providing them with free artificial limbs. 

"Lawmaker Choudhary established the Sabal Center at Chisapani Hospital as part of his humanitarian service initiative, keeping the well-being of his constituents at the forefront. 

During his election campaign, Leader Choudhary had pledged to deliver quality and accessible healthcare services to the citizens in Nawalparasi, and his work in the healthcare sector has demonstrated this commitment," read the statement. 

According to the Foundation, people without limbs from all across the country will receive services at Chisapani Hospital. 

Meanwhile, Choudhary has also announced plans to establish a trauma center to further specialise the hospital's services. 

Shambhu Shrestha, Mayor of Bardaghat Municipality, said that the municipality is committed to assisting in making the hospital excel.
