President Deuba expresses grief over the passing of Dr Budhathoki

Kathmandu, Feb 6: Nepali Congress (NC) has expressed deep grief over the demise of the former member of its Central Policy, Research and Training Academy and former member of the National Planning Commission, Dr Prabhu Budhathoki.     

Issuing a condolence message on behalf of President Deuba, chief secretary at the party's central office, Krishna Prasad Paudel expressed grief over the passing of Dr Budhathoki.     

He had played an active role in the formation of the party organization and the democratic movement of Nepal, the message reads.     

NC noted that the party has lost an intellectual and decent personality. President Deuba has paid tribute to Budhathoki and extended condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of the party and himself.     

Budhathoki had passed away on Feb 5 (Wednesday).(RSS)
