Investment in science and tech sector inadequate: DPM Singh

By Surya Prasad Pandey, Kathmandu, Feb 6: Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh said that there is a need to enhance investment in science and technology.  

Speaking in the inauguration program of the 13th Southwestern Exhibition & Career in Management-2025 organized by Southwestern State College today at Basundhara, Minister Singh said the nation cannot be developed without the development of technology.

Minister said that artificial intelligence has brought up a big change recently. "So we all have to focus towards it. " He said.

He said that government should focus towards technological development while formulating education policy. DPM also added that this kind of exhibition will inspire youths towards science and technology.

He said this kind of exhibition program will help implement knowledge and skills. 

DPM Singh said that this kind of program will be inspirational for stakeholders to enhance investment in technology.
