British Prince and Princess in Pokhara

Gandaki, Feb 6: British Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, and Princess Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, arrived in Pokhara today.     

Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya, Kaski Chief District Officer Bharat Mani Pandey, among others, greeted the British Prince and Pricness at Pokhara international airport.     

Mayor Acharya said that the visit of the Prince and Princess to Pokhara would believably strengthen Nepal-UK bilateral relations and promote the natural beauty, culture and hospitality of Pokhara at international level.     

During their stay at Pokhara, the royal couple would visit the tourist destinations here and graciously attend a programme to be held at the British Camp in Bagar, Pokhara on Friday.(RSS)
