Rewriting of Buddha scripture 'Prajnaparamita' (Photo Feature)

By Sujan Gurung, Lalitpur, July 30: The rewriting and renovation of the Prajnaparamita (Buddha scripture) is underway at the Hiranya Varna Monastery in Lalitpur.    

Hemaratna Bajracharya, who is involved in the rewriting process, said that the book related to the Mahayana of Buddhism contains the principles of gaining enlightenment and various contexts related to Lord Buddha. As rewriting should be done only before eating, the rewriting task is underway daily from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

Including Hemratna Bajracharya other six people Suresh Bajracharya, Astaman Shakya, Sudan Shakya, Kiran Shakya, Dinesh Shakya and Sumed Shakya are involved in the rewriting and renovation process.
