Ghimire’s ‘Rangin Kalo’ launched

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Apr. 6: Sisar Sahitya Prathisthan on Wednesday felicitated Dr. Hemnath Ghimire for his contribution to Nepali literature and for his involvement in the construction of a 6.5 KM bridge over the Padma River in Bangladesh.  Lyrist Prof. Dr. Krishna Hari Baral handed over a letter of felicitation at a function organised by the Prathisthan and Book Bird Nepal.

Dr. Ghimire's collection of songs 'Rangin Kalo' book was released jointly by Baral, Prathisthan chair Gyannistha Gynwali, senior musician Nyhu Bajracharya, Bikram Bhakta Joshi, lyricist  Karna Thapa, singer Sudarshan Bikram Rana, singer Laxmi Ghimire and others at the same event. 

Speaking at the function, Baral said Ghimire's songs gives a new taste. 

Gynwali, who is also the department chief of Tribhuvan University, Padma Kanya Campus, Sanskrit, Journalism and Hindi Department, said Ghimire's book has made him alive forever.
