By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu,Mar.1: The government has decided to form a dialogue committee to receive USD 100 million as concessional loan and USD 3.84 million as grant assistance to be provided by the World Bank to implement Nepal Quality Health Service programme.
The government has given approval to the Ministry of Finance for doing necessary preparation in this regard. The decision to this effect was made by the meeting of Council of Ministers held on February 27 held in the official residence of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Baluwatar, Monday.
Speaking at a press meet organised to make the Cabinet decisions public, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma on Tuesday said that the government had endorsed the visit of Finance Secretary Toyam Raya to Philippines to participate in the mid-term review meeting to be organised by the Asian Development Bank from March 9 to 10.
The government has also decided to form compensation fixation committee to construct 400 KVA Karnali Corridor Transmission Line Project for the land pooling purpose of the area, according to Minister Sharma.
Further, the Cabinet meeting decided to form a delegation led by Minister for Foreign Affairs to attend virtual 19th Ministerial-level BIMSTEC meeting and delegation team led by Foreign Secretary to participate in the virtual meeting of the 23rd Secretary-level BIMSTEC meeting to be held in Thailand from March 8 to 9.
The Cabinet meeting has approved the visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Narayan Kaji Shrestha and his team to Doha of Qatar to participate in the 5th United Nations Conference on the Least Developing Countries. The meeting is going to be held from March 3 to 7.
The government has allowed to use six ropanis of land of the national forest to construct administrative building of Khani Khola Executive Office in Khani Khola Rural Municipality-5 of Kavre.
The government has also approved Mountaineering Instructor Development Committee Order (fifth amendment).
Minister Sharma said as proposal tabled by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, the government had made arrangement of keeping all the data and important information at the Government Integrated Data Centre located in Singha Durbar, and ensure full operation of the GIDC and Disaster Recovery Centre of Hetauda for 24 hours by the National Information Technology Centre and its networking system, and monitoring provision to be conducted by the Cyber Security Authority.
