Property worth Rs 50 million perishes in fire

Ranjha (Banke), May 31: Property worth Rs 50 million perished in a fire that broke out in the Everest Plywood Industry located at ward no 12 of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolis.     

It took 24 hours to douse the fire that broke out on Friday. The machines, raw materials and wood items readied for sale turned into ashes, according to proprietor Prakash Rana.     

Several doors were ready but gutted in the fire.     

Spokesperson at District Police Office, Pratit Singh Rathaur, informed that the fire might have begun with short circuit. The blazed was taken under control by mobilizing fire engines attended by security forces and locals.
