Lumbini, May 5: Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chet Narayan Acharya has said that academic activities should be prioritized based on the interests of students.
Addressing the Golden Jubilee Celebration of the Deaf Child Secondary School in Siddharthanagar Municipality-2 today, the Chief Minister said that education should be linked to the needs, capacity building and future of the students.
On the occasion, Acharya said that there should be a change in the perspective to look at differently able people and added that province government has accorded priority to make such students self-reliant and entrepreneurs. He said that the state was creating opportunities for the differently able people.
Established in 2032 BS, the school is playing a vital role in educating deaf children in the district and beyond.(RSS)
