Kathmandu, April 17: The agencies acquiring license to process the travel of workers for foreign jobs have been mandated to clearly disclose the name, contact number and locations of a focal person while applying for pre-approval through foreign employment demand letters.
According to a notice issued by the Department of Foreign Employment on Friday, there is a provision requiring such agencies to demand workers and publish about it in national dailies, notifying the Department to this regard.
Though there is already a provision mandating such agencies to clearly mention the name, contact number and contact location of an official person of the organisation, the Department has received complaints that potential applicants have found it challenging to reach the authorised channel and people, it is said.(RSS)
