Mahendranagar, April 11: Security personnel have been reinforced to enhance safety along the Nepal–India border in Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.
The Armed Police Force (APF) No. 7 Baijanath Brigade reported that additional forces have been deployed in both districts, with a 30-member team assigned to conduct continuous, round-the-clock patrols.
The APF remains actively involved in safeguarding border areas and curbing smuggling through Border Security Gulms and Border Out Posts (BOPs) positioned along the Nepal–India frontier. In addition, it also implements disaster management awareness programmes targeting schools and local communities.(RSS)
